Why outsource bookkeeping?

The main reason our clients outsource their bookkeeping tasks is
so they can focus more of their valuable time on the development
of their business. This is particularly important for smaller businesses that do not have a dedicated accounts team, but need the skills
that this effort requires.

Cruse & Burke can simply remove the administrative burden of the
day-to-day accounting requirements of your business, leaving you
safe in the knowledge that your bookkeeping matters are being
managed by professional experts.

Why do companies outsource their bookkeeping activities to Cruse & Burke?

Our clients regard us as a trusted virtual member of the team
who can be relied upon to deliver on time, every time.

Our clients are comforted by the knowledge that an experienced team is managing their bookkeeping affairs, so that they do not have to worry about key financial deadlines or new legislation,
e.g. VAT, payroll, Tax.

Our clients are reassured that they can utilise our experience and up-to-date technological systems, which means they can limit the investment themselves.

Our clients like the idea of having a friendly and independent
voice at the end of the phone who can provide instant advice
and support.

Charges

Obviously different businesses have different needs, but we have
found that our clients prefer to work with a fixed fee, which aids their budgeting and planning. In terms of bookkeeping, we have devised a package that uses a monthly fixed fee, which includes the management of 50 documents, telephone support, online filing etc. For documents
in excess of this volume, a fixed per-document rate applies thereafter.

We also recognise that some clients have their own resources and prefer to complete their own data entry, but seek a simple review of the data at period end to check for accuracy, consistency and legality.

Technology

As a company who prides itself in state-of-the art technology, we like
to consider all the latest technological accounting tools and software to improve our efficiency, which, in turn, we can pass onto our clients.

We are experienced in all the key accounting software packages:
SAGE, Clearbooks, Quick Books, Tally etc. We even offer tailored training courses for several of these packages.

We particularly embrace software that allows our clients online access
to their up-to-date accounting records, regardless of time or location.

We are seeing an increasing move among our clients to online
software such as Clearbooks and Sage One, which aids the running of their business by giving them access to live data.

We also strongly embrace the use of scanning documents to enable
a paperless office.
